Purdue Engineering Transfer

Direct Admission to Purdue University's College of Engineering.

Engineering students at VU who complete their associate degree can take part in a direct admissions program to obtain their bachelor’s degree at Purdue. This agreement allows VU graduates to complete their bachelor's degree at one of the most highly regarded colleges of engineering in the nation. This agreement is limited to VU students who are residents of IN, IL, MI, OH, & KY.

A Parent's Perspective:

We felt like VU was a perfect fit for David, and we knew he would get a really good foundation when he transferred to Purdue in Computer Engineering. Despite being Valedictorian of his class and having been accepted to Purdue and Rose Hulman, we opted for VU. His math classes at VU were challenging, but he received a lot more individualized attention than the he would have gotten at Purdue, and we saved thousands by going to VU instead of Rose Hulman. He was able to transfer all the hours from VU to Purdue, and most importantly he started an internship with Crane before any of the first year students at Purdue. VU not only gave him an outstanding academic experience, but it gave him a significant head start in his internship relative to his peers at Purdue.
