Virtual START VU
When and Where
VU plans to conduct all advising, registration, and orientation processes in a virtual environment this summer.
Students are strongly encouraged to complete placement testing, advising/registration and orientation as soon as possible. A member of VU's team will be in contact with new students in the coming weeks to provide information on the virtual Start VU process and also provide assistance.
Accuplacer can be taken on campus by appointment. You can also test with our “virtual proctoring” Accuplacer online option. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through Examity. Simply contact the VU Testing Center via email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and additional instructions.
The scores you achieve on the Accuplacer placement exam will be used by your advisor when determining your first-semester class schedule. For more information on the placement exam, including Accuplacer practice sites, please visit the Testing Center.
Students must obtain a minimum score on one section of the Accuplacer. Read more about minimum scores.
