Diesel Technology has changed tremendously since your parents were your age. Today's technician not only needs formal training in the latest diagnostic equipment, but must also possess good reading and math skills in order to follow detailed service manuals and work with computer-based software.

The John Deere sponsored program emphasizes both technical and general education. In the classroom you will study how to solve problems, communicate, diagnose and repair. Then you'll roll up your sleeves for some intense hands-on-training where you will be challenged to test your knowledge on different types of John Deere equipment using the latest technical information, special tools and diagnostic equipment.
