Please follow the following procedures in case of an emergency. These include explosions, flooding and water damage, flood, power outage/steam failure, violent crime/threat, psychological crisis, workplace violence, train derailment/access blockage, tornado/severe weather, fire, fire in a residence hall, chemical/petroleum spill, employee evacuation procedures, civil disorder, medical emergencies, bob threats, snow/ice emergency, medical waste emergency, building structural failure, terrorism, and earthquake.
Vincennes University uses several communication methods in case of an emergency. These include, but not limited to, the VU e-text alert, WVUB 91.1 (campus radio), WVUT (campus television), and this website. If you have an emergency, please call campus police at 812.888.5555.
