The Career Exploration Center maintains current information on career planning including job search strategies, resume guides and interview techniques, occupational information and labor market trends, and scholarships. Applications and catalogs from colleges and universities are also available.

College Transfer Resources

Students planning to transfer to other institutions after graduating from VU will find college guides, directories, college catalogs and online resources. Transfer applications are also available from Indiana colleges and universities.

Workshops

Workshops related to career planning including an overview of the services offered through the Center may be arranged. Faculty interested in scheduling a workshop should contact the Career Exploration Center.

Internships

The Career Exploration Center provides a listing of internships online. In addition, the Career Exploration Center can assist students in applying for internship opportunities. Students interested in gaining valuable experience related to their major as well as excellent networks for future reference should consider internships. See below for your opportunity to offer an internship or summer job to our students.

Part-Time Employment

The Career Exploration Center assists students with part-time employment by serving as a clearinghouse for off-campus and on-campus jobs. Students may learn about job opportunities available online. Part-time Job Fairs will also be offered during the school year to help students connect with potential employment.
