Requirements for International Students

Academic Requirements

The following TOEFL criteria are applied in assessing student admissibility. Upon completion of the ESL requirement, students are required to take the College Placement Test before entering college-level courses.

You must have completed high school and earned a certificate of completion that would enable you to be admitted to a university in your home country. Your application must include a translation of your high school transcript.

If you are transferring from another U.S. college, please have the college send your official transcript to VU's Office of Registration & Student Records .

Vincennes University does not evaluate academic transcripts for students who have attended academic institutions outside the United States. In order to have your coursework evaluated for the purpose of obtaining college transfer credit at Vincennes University, you will need to have your transcript evaluated by a foreign credentials evaluation service .

Once you receive the evaluation report from the service, you must send the report and an original or certified copy of the transcript to:

Vincennes University
Registrar's Office WAB-1
1002 North First Street
Vincennes, IN 47591 - 5902
