Academic , TOEFL , Financial , Deadlines

Vincennes University is an open enrollment college, which means that we do not require a TOEFL score for International Admissions.  The Admissions requirements for International Students include:

  1. International application for admission   (pdf)
  2. Financial Sponsor's Statement (pdf) 
  3. Financial Sponsor's bank statement showing available funds exceeding the the amount required on the Sponsor's statement 
  4. High school diploma (Must be translated in English)
  5. $20 application fee (To pay by credit card) 

Academic Requirements

You must have completed high school and earned a diploma that would enable you to be admitted to a university in your home country. Your application must include an English translation of your high school transcript.

If you are transferring from another U.S. college, please have the college send your official transcripts to the Vincennes University Registrar's Office.

Vincennes University does not evaluate academic transcripts for students who have attended academic institutions outside the United States. In order to have your coursework evaluated for the purpose of obtaining college transfer credit at Vincennes University. You will need to have your transcript evaluated by a foreign credentials evaluation service .

Once you receive the evaluation report from the service, you must send the report and an original or certified copy of the transcript to:

TOEFL

If you have a TOEFL score, we will use the following criteria to determine the level at which you will enter the University. Once you complete ESL or test out of ESL based on your TOEFL score, you will then be required to take the College Placement Test before enrolling in college-level courses.

TOEFL Scores ESL Requirements

528 or Above (197 CBT)  will not have to take ESL classes

Students with scores below 528 (197 CBT) will be tested for ESL upon their arrival.

Financial Requirements

$20 application fee (To pay by credit card)Financial Sponsor's Statement,  and Sponsor's bank statement

Costs to attend Vincennes University for one year are estimated at US$20,230.00
