Is there a residency requirement for the associate degree?
All students, unless served under a Servicemembers Opportunity College (SOC) program agreement, must complete at least 30 semester hours from Vincennes University in order to be eligible for graduation. Of the total number of hours required for a specific degree, only six of the last 15 hours may be transfer hours. All SOC, SOC-NAV, SOCMAR, and SOCGUARD students must complete at least 15 semester hours in courses from accredited colleges and universities. Of these 15, at least six hours must be earned through Vincennes University courses. Course credits earned through the Distance Education Program are applicable toward meeting the residency requirements.
