Staff and children of the Civitan Children's Center sang patriotic songs as part of Vincennes University's Tribute to Veterans on Tuesday at the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center.

The staff and children of the Civitan Children's Center sang patriotic songs as part of Vincennes University's Tribute to Veterans on Tuesday at the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center.  Sponsored by the VU Support Staff Council, the program included remarks from Indiana Army National Guard Sgt. John Lee, Knox County Veterans Service Officer Kenny Newton, VU President Dick Helton, VU Law Enforcement Professor Randy Walters, and Dan Ravellette, who spoke on behalf of Mayor Al Baldwin. Dan and Lisa Miller performed "America the Beautiful" and "God Bless America." The program concluded with a 21 Gun Salute by the All-Weather Firing Squad and Taps by Dick Edwards.
