What is Educational Talent Search(ETS)?
Educational Talent Search is a 100% federally funded TRIO program at $379,019 by the U.S Department of Education.
Educational Talent Search identifies and assists individuals from income eligible backgrounds and /or potential first generation students (neither parent has a four- year college degree) who have the potential to succeed in higher education. The program provides academic, career, and financial counseling to its participants and encourages them to graduate from high school and continue on to the postsecondary school of their choice.
Educational Talent Search also serves students without high school diplomas by encouraging them to reenter the education system and complete their education. The goal of Educational Talent Search is to increase the number of youths from these backgrounds who complete high school and enroll in post secondary education institutions of their choice.
