CEN 136 Basic Home Cooking:  Easter Chocolates

Are you tired of the same old candy that you put in your kids’ Easter baskets?  Would you like to learn how to incorporate more wholesome ingredients into the treats that they eat?  If so, then you should sign up for our new class taught by Amy Bowler.  Let Amy show you how to punch up those Easter treats so that you provide your loved ones with homemade treats that you lovingly make yourself.

CEN 137 Basic Home Cooking:  Homemade Candy for Your Valentine

Are you looking for a way to show your love for a sweetheart?  Want to give him/her something special that you made yourself but don’t know how to do it?  Come let Debbie Joyce teach you how to make to-die-for homemade chocolate and peanut butter fudge, coconut bonbons, and peanut butter balls.  At the end of each class, you will have a substantial box of goodies to take home with you that you made with your own hands!  Debbie is an adjunct instructor in VU’s Culinary Arts program, and has over 30 years experience in the food service and baking industry.

CEN 138C Basic Home Cooking:  Noodles

Want to do something special for your family?  Do you miss the days of sitting by your grandmother’s side as she lovingly prepared delicious homemade noodles?  Then come let Debbie Joyce teach you how to prepare those noodles the “old-fashioned” way.  The participant will actually make a batch of homemade noodles to take home.
