Vincennes is a historic city that is rich and vibrant with culture. You will enjoy local theatre, festivals, historic landmarks and plenty of unique eats.

Founded in 1801 VU is Indiana’s first college making your degree widely recognized by top employers! Vincennes is a vibrant city rich with culture and history. Here you will find many unique local happenings such as the George Rogers Clark National Historic park, Fort Knox II, and the mansion of VU founder and US President William Henry Harrison.

A degree above the rest

Those with a college degree tend to earn more, a lot more. With a bachelor’s degree you may earn approximately $1 million more than someone with a high school diploma. Register now for VU Surveying Camp

The Vincennes University Surveying Camp is now accepting registrations for an immersive experience that introduces youth to the exciting and rewarding career of land surveying. The camp is May 29-31 and offers high school students a unique opportunity to delve into the world of surveying through hands-on experience, expert instruction, and college credit.

VU announces historic faculty endowment gift from Ro and Shorty Whittington

Ro and Charles "Shorty" Whittington of Columbus, Indiana, have announced a first-of-its-kind and groundbreaking gift to Vincennes University. The landmark gift will create a faculty endowment fund made possible by the tremendous generosity of the couple. The Whittington Endowed Faculty Fund represents VU’s first-ever faculty fund endowment, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to academic excellence and advancement.
